The Senior Associate, Strategic Finance at Chime will play a pivotal role within the Finance team, collaborating closely with the Strategic Finance group to shape the company's business and financial strategies. Key responsibilities include developing unit economic frameworks to assess the return on investment (ROI) of various products, features, and business strategies, thereby guiding Chime's decision-making processes. The role also involves evaluating the economic viability and driving strategies for new and emerging products. Building strong relationships with cross-functional teams—including Product, Risk, Analytics, and Banking Partnerships—is essential to advise on financial impacts and enhance business performance. Additionally, the Senior Associate will manage financial forecasts using tools like Pigment, support strategic deal negotiations, and contribute to board and investor materials.
Candidates should possess 3-4 years of relevant experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or venture capital, preferably within high-growth technology or fintech environments. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required, with the ability to build scalable and intuitive models. Experience with Looker, SQL, or Pigment is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are also essential.
The base salary for this role ranges from $119,000 to $165,000 annually, with eligibility for bonuses, a competitive equity package, and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
