Senior Category Manager I (Onsite)

As a Contract Manufacturing Category Manager I at Axon, you will lead critical supply categories, ensuring suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements. This role involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders to optimize supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include managing supplier performance through formal reviews, acting as a subject matter expert for defined commodities, partnering with demand planning to align supplier capacity with business needs, leading spend management initiatives, negotiating contracts, and supporting new product introduction processes.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, along with 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity/category management. Strong expertise in electronics manufacturing, advanced negotiation skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are essential.
