Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will join SmartRecruiters' Internal Engineering Team, focusing on enhancing and expanding the company's cloud infrastructure. SmartRecruiters, an SAP company, is a leader in AI-powered hiring platforms, serving over 4,000 enterprises globally. This role is integral to maintaining and advancing the technological backbone that supports the company's innovative recruitment solutions.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with Platform and Engineering teams on strategic initiatives, automating and scaling the cloud platform, addressing client threats, and supporting the engineering team in managing infrastructure components. The engineer will also develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) building blocks, mentor team members, and document standards and best practices.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience, with expertise in AWS or other cloud providers, Kubernetes, and IaC tools. A strong background in Linux system hardening, performance troubleshooting, and scripting languages like Bash and Python is essential. Additional skills in networking standards, database management, and programming languages such as Golang or Java are advantageous.
