Senior Cloud Network Engineer
The Senior Cloud Network Engineer at Graphcore will join the Cloud Platform Team to develop and deploy cloud services on cutting-edge AI systems. This role involves collaborating with Software Platform, Datacentre Operations, and Product Development teams to integrate, validate, benchmark, and optimize high-performance AI solutions, including in-house AI systems and high-performance servers, switches, and storage solutions.
Key responsibilities include developing and operating high-performance Ethernet infrastructure on private clouds, supporting internal users, building automation to collect and analyze network metrics, maintaining and tuning AI systems for peak performance, and integrating third-party products into the Cloud Reference Design with a focus on network performance, automation, and resilience.
Required qualifications encompass a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, significant hands-on experience with high-end (100Gb/s+) Ethernet switch solutions, management of on-premises or private-cloud environments, strong Linux scripting and system administration skills, experience with version control systems and continuous integration pipelines, and proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code automation tools and container deployment.
