Senior Commercial Manager

As a Senior Commercial Manager at AirTrunk's headquarters in North Sydney, you will lead the commercial strategy for large-scale hyperscale data centre developments across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Reporting to the Associate Commercial Director, you will collaborate with teams and leadership across the region to influence key commercial, contractual, and risk decisions, shaping and elevating commercial frameworks and governance at scale.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert guidance on all commercial and contract issues throughout the lifecycle of data centre developments, negotiating and managing complex domestic and international contracts, and overseeing cost management, forecasting, and cash flow projections across the regional portfolio. Additionally, you will manage commercial portfolio risks, resolve claims and disputes creatively, and drive governance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in data centre delivery.

The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in commercial roles within data centre construction, engineering, or infrastructure, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects. A degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong expertise in contract negotiation, cost management, and risk assessment. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills are essential, as well as a proactive and outcome-driven approach.
