LeafLink is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the evolution of our data platform and analytics infrastructure. This role involves designing and scaling systems that power analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the organization. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure our data platform remains reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting critical decision-making.

In this position, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and Python. Responsibilities include guiding the architecture and evolution of the company's data platform, building integrations across modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Redshift, and Sigma, and developing serverless data services using AWS services like Lambda. Additionally, you will partner with stakeholders to define reliable data models and analytics datasets, improve pipeline reliability through testing and monitoring, modernize legacy data processes, and mentor engineers and analysts on data modeling and platform best practices.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience building production data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. Strong SQL skills and experience modeling large datasets are essential, along with proficiency in Python for building pipelines and automation. Experience with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration and transformation tools, as well as modern data stack tools like Fivetran, Redshift, or Sigma, is required. Familiarity with AWS and serverless data processing, such as Lambda, and a strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and analytics engineering are also necessary. Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives across teams is highly valued.
