Senior Electrical Architect, Connected Warfare
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Connected Warfare team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on modernizing command and control systems for U.S. and Allied forces by integrating advanced edge computing and communication technologies into military vehicles. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art power systems tailored for extreme performance and reliability in demanding environments. Key tasks include engineering interfaces between high-capacity battery systems and sophisticated edge computing platforms, leading full-cycle PCB design, defining and integrating modules and subsystems into full vehicle systems, and developing communication architectures for various electrical devices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of power efficiency and troubleshooting complex challenges are also integral to the role.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs. Required qualifications include a general understanding of engineering concepts and principles, hands-on experience with integrating and debugging complex power and communications systems, experience designing mixed-signal PCBs, and familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces. Exceptional organization and communication skills are essential, and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $146,000 to $194,000 USD annually, with actual offers varying based on factors such as work experience, education, and critical skills.
