Echodyne is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Kirkland, WA. This role focuses on ensuring the long-term performance, reliability, manufacturability, and supportability of Echodyne’s fielded and in-production radar products. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Design, Systems, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain, to investigate issues, resolve defects, and implement durable design improvements across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include developing, verifying, and documenting design updates driven by reliability, yield, component lifecycle, or manufacturability needs. The role also involves evaluating component, material, and supplier alternatives, supporting qualification of replacements for end-of-life or supply-chain risk mitigation, and leading root-cause investigations, failure analysis, and corrective/preventative actions for analog and mixed-signal circuits and subsystems. Additionally, the engineer will perform advanced debugging and characterization of mixed-signal PCB assemblies in lab and production environments and partner with Manufacturing and Test teams to improve test coverage, debug flows, and production yield.

Required qualifications include a background in analog and mixed-signal circuit theory and hands-on circuit analysis, the ability to interpret schematics and guide circuit-level design changes with an understanding of system-level interactions, and working knowledge of power integrity, signal integrity, and mixed-signal layout considerations. Candidates should also have experience collaborating in a cross-functional hardware development and production environment, leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production or fielded hardware, and debugging and sustaining PCB assemblies that include analog, digital, power, and programmable devices. Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and related lab equipment is essential.

Echodyne offers competitive compensation and benefits to full-time, US-based employees, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), fully-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, and a choice of PPO or HDHP/HSA plans. The expected annual salary range for this exempt role is $124,733 - $187,048 USD. The company fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment, providing opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of advanced radar technology.
