Senior Electrical Engineer, EMI/EMC Design
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in EMI/EMC design to join their Air Dominance & Strike Electrical Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, testing, and validating electromagnetic compatibility and interference solutions for electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include conducting EMI/EMC testing and analysis on electronic systems and components, developing and implementing design strategies to mitigate EMI/EMC issues, preparing test plans and compliance documentation, and collaborating with product design teams to integrate EMC requirements during the design phase. The engineer will also identify program EMI/EMC risks and define strategies for risk reduction through modeling, simulation, or experimental activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, along with over seven years of experience in EMI/EMC design and testing. Familiarity with EMC/EMI standards and regulations such as MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, RTCA DO-160, FCC, IEC, CISPR, and SAE is essential. Proficiency in using EMI/EMC testing equipment, experience with simulation tools like ANSYS or CST Microwave Studio, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are also required. Additionally, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $146,000 to $194,000 USD annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in most full-time offers.
