Senior Electrical Engineer II
The Senior Electrical Engineer II position at AXON offers the opportunity to be a critical part of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for developing innovative technology solutions within a leading public safety technology company. In this role, you will take ownership of complex electrical engineering projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in hardware, software, and mechanical engineering. Daily responsibilities include designing and integrating schematics, performing PCB layout reviews, leading design validation and verification processes, and supporting new product introduction from concept through to production. You will also participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous product improvement initiatives.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with at least 6 years of relevant experience in complex product development and electrical system integration. Key skills required include expertise in schematic capture, PCB design, mixed-signal circuit analysis, and hands-on lab and debugging experience. The role also demands proficiency with tools such as Altium Designer, strong documentation abilities, and a collaborative, communicative approach.
