Senior Electrical Engineer
Peloton is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team in Woodinville, Washington. This role involves designing and developing electrical systems and circuits for new and existing Peloton products, including consumer electronics, motor controls, power supplies, and sensor integration. The successful candidate will contribute to the next generation of connected fitness products, working within a team committed to innovation and exceptional user experiences.
Key responsibilities include conducting rigorous testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards such as UL, CE, and FCC. This involves debugging hardware, analyzing test data, and implementing design changes as needed. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, firmware, software, and industrial design, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the final product. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are manufacturable and provide support during production ramp-up.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering is required, with a strong background in power systems, power supplies, and consumer electronics development. Technical skills should include a deep understanding of power systems, AC and DC motors, and line-connected appliance designs. Experience in both internal and joint development work, working with overseas JDM and CM partners, is essential. Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, as well as experience with microcontroller-based system design, is also required. Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and motor test equipment is necessary.
The base salary range for this position is $139,800 to $171,750 USD.
