The Senior Engineering Program Manager II at Axon's Dedrone division will oversee the development of next-generation counter-UAS (cUAS) technology, managing programs from conceptualization through production. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative airspace defense solutions, aligning with Axon's mission to protect life.

Key responsibilities include driving hardware programs from concept to mass production, owning the master schedule, and ensuring milestones are met across all program phases. The role requires leading cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain to align on priorities and deliver cohesive program outcomes. Additionally, the manager will identify, track, and proactively mitigate program risks, own program budget management, and collaborate with both domestic and international stakeholders to ensure manufacturing readiness and on-time production ramp.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, with an MBA or MS in Engineering Management being a plus. Proven experience managing hardware product development programs through the full product lifecycle, preferably in industries involving advanced electromechanical systems, is essential. Strong technical fluency across mechanical, electrical, and firmware disciplines, experience managing ODM/CM relationships, and proficiency with program management tools are also required.
