Axon's Robotics & New Ventures division is developing advanced autonomous public safety technologies, including TASER-enabled drones, ground control stations, and ground robots. These complex systems are designed, manufactured, certified, and launched for law enforcement agencies across multiple continents. The Senior Engineering Program Manager II will lead the integrated execution of the hardware portfolio for Axon's flagship robotics platform, overseeing various components such as drone hardware, ground control stations, radio integration, international contract manufacturing, regulatory certification, and product launch.

In this role, the manager will own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across drone, ground control station, radio, and supporting subsystems, ensuring synchronization, dependency mapping, and resource loading from design through mass production. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional integration points where design, manufacturing, firmware, test, and certification converge, driving formal change control processes, and maintaining configuration management discipline across hardware revisions, BOM versions, ECOs, and firmware builds.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of engineering program management experience in hardware product development, with a proven track record of delivering complex multi-disciplinary hardware products from prototype through mass production at scale. Experience managing contract manufacturers in Asia, owning and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules with extensive tasks and dependencies, and formal risk management practices are essential. A strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field are required.

Axon offers a competitive salary and 401k with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave for all, medical, dental, and vision plans, fitness programs, emotional and mental wellness support, learning and development programs, and office snacks. Benefits may vary depending on employment nature and location.

Joining Axon means contributing to a mission-driven company dedicated to protecting life through innovative public safety technologies. The company fosters a fast-paced, challenging, and meaningful work environment where employees can take ownership and drive real change.
