Senior Fullstack Software Engineer I (Strong Frontend)
Axon is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer I with a strong emphasis on frontend development to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is integral to our mission of protecting life by developing innovative public safety solutions. As part of the Axon Records team, you will contribute to building a cloud-native web platform designed to streamline reporting processes for law enforcement agencies worldwide.
In this position, you will own features across the entire stack, from React-based user interfaces to GraphQL APIs and Go microservices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design solutions, and leading engineering architecture and design reviews. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience building and shipping production web applications across the full stack. Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript on the frontend, as well as experience with at least one backend language such as Node.js or Go, is required. Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, microservices architecture, and scaling systems with Kubernetes and Docker is also essential. Experience with internationalization (i18n) or building multi-locale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms is a plus.
