Senior Legal Counsel

xAI is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its International Legal team, focusing on legal matters in Japan and Korea. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing technology company. The position reports to the Legal Director for APAC and involves close collaboration with various business and legal teams across the organization.

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for managing xAI's litigation portfolio in Japan and Korea, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and advising on a broad range of legal matters, including contract law, advertising regulations, intellectual property, content regulation, and competition law. The role also involves supporting the Revenue Policy team, researching relevant laws, and providing guidance on legal risks and business strategies.

Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience as an attorney-at-law or advocate, with significant experience in litigation in Japan. A strong understanding of digital advertising, contract law, and intellectual property is essential. Fluency in Japanese and English is required, with additional language skills in Korean or other APAC languages being highly desirable.
