Senior Machine Learning Scientist
As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Axon, you will be a pivotal member of our AI team, focusing on advancing Large Language Models (LLMs), Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs), Computer Vision, and Generative AI technologies. In this position, you will lead the research and development of cutting-edge techniques in LLMs, MLLMs, and Computer Vision across cloud platforms, devices, and robotics. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing efficient and scalable models for analyzing multimodal data, exploring novel approaches to challenges in natural language processing and computer vision, and optimizing AI models for performance and energy efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to integrate these models into Axon's products effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on LLMs, MLLMs, Computer Vision, or Generative AI, and have over eight years of relevant experience. A proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences or journals, is essential. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++, experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and familiarity with robotic operating systems are also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are crucial for success in this role.
