Ridgeline is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering for its Client Management team, responsible for developing core systems that enable investment managers to onboard clients, model complex relationships, and maintain a comprehensive 360° view across Client Management and related products. This role involves leading a high-performing engineering team to build reliable, scalable services that serve as the entry point to Ridgeline's platform. The position is based in Reno, NV.

Key responsibilities include shaping the technical architecture of Client Management services to ensure a single, trusted source of client-related data, partnering with Product, Design, and Customer Experience teams to create intuitive end-to-end workflows, and driving the execution of the Client Management roadmap by balancing new feature development with technical debt reduction. The role also involves championing AI processes using tools like Claude Code and ChatGPT to accelerate design, coding, testing, and documentation, as well as enhancing reliability, performance, data quality, observability, and security for systems at the forefront of the Ridgeline platform.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management. A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to guide cross-team initiatives, and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and architectural patterns. Experience in creating and leading high-performance teams is essential.
