Senior Manager, Mechanical - AI & LC Infrastructure
The Senior Manager, Mechanical (AI & LC Infrastructure) at AirTrunk is responsible for developing and advancing the company's Liquid Cooling Product. This role reports to the Director of AI & LC Infrastructure and collaborates closely with the Product, Customer Solutions, Design, and Innovation teams to enhance AirTrunk's data centre offerings.
Key responsibilities include managing feasibility analyses, conducting studies and reviews, and incorporating new technologies into AirTrunk’s reference data centre product design. The role also involves overseeing technical reference design documentation, presenting product updates to the broader business, and interfacing with customers, consultants, and internal teams to integrate key requirements into the data centre product. Additionally, the position requires an understanding of the commercial, operational, and legal implications of engineering decisions and contributing to internal technical learning and strategic projects.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least eight years of industry experience. Experience leading or playing a key role in technical teams delivering major data centre projects is essential. A sound understanding of multi-disciplinary building services design, particularly mechanical and electrical systems, is required, with knowledge of controls and civil, structural, and architectural disciplines being advantageous. Experience with data centre operations, hyperscale design, and cloud environments in the APAC market is preferred. The role demands flexibility, adaptability, decision-making accountability, and strong communication skills for delivering effective presentations to various stakeholders.
