Figure is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead our financial reporting efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, contributing to the overall success of our Controllership team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing the preparation and timely filing of SEC reports, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and proxy statements. Key responsibilities include preparing supporting schedules for financial statements, maintaining the reporting calendar, leading the review process with legal and external auditors, and driving continuous improvement across the reporting function. Additionally, the role involves establishing and maintaining SOX-compliant internal controls over financial reporting and supporting regulator inquiries as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with an active CPA license. A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role, is required. Deep experience in SEC reporting, a strong foundation in US GAAP, and proficiency with Workiva are essential. Experience in fintech, technology, or high-growth industries is considered a plus.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $140,250 to $189,750 per year, with a 25% annual bonus target paid quarterly. The position also offers company equity in the form of RSUs.
