Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting - Enterprise Sales
Canva is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Revenue Accounting to join its rapidly expanding Revenue Accounting team. This role is integral to managing the complexities of revenue models across both self-serve (B2C) and enterprise (B2B) channels, ensuring scalable and compliant revenue frameworks that support new product launches and global expansion.
The Senior Manager will provide technical revenue accounting guidance across various revenue streams, including new product launches and enterprise agreements. Responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess revenue implications of new features, and leading technical accounting research on complex revenue topics. Additionally, the role involves establishing and maintaining revenue accounting policies and influencing scalable processes across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a CPA preferred. Deep technical expertise in revenue recognition under ASC 606 (US GAAP) is essential, along with experience in technical accounting research and policy development. Experience in a public company or SOX-compliant environment is preferred, particularly within the SaaS or technology industry. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment are also important.
The target salary range for this position is $198,000 to $304,000, with compensation decisions based on market data and the candidate's skills and experience.
