Marqeta is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that optimize marketing performance and drive business growth. Reporting to the Marketing Analytics Manager, this role focuses on building scalable, trusted performance reporting—validating and enhancing datasets, creating and managing self-serve dashboards, and uncovering insights that improve pipeline and spend efficiency. The analyst will collaborate closely with Integrated Marketing, Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Web Strategy, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure consistent, accurate reporting across the customer journey and deliver insights that inform marketing strategy and execution.

Key responsibilities include building, maintaining, and improving self-serve dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across marketing and go-to-market teams. The analyst will prepare datasets to support ongoing reporting, forecasting, attribution inputs, segmentation, and broader analytics initiatives. Conducting foundational analysis of campaign performance, funnel behavior, web engagement, audience trends, and paid media efficiency is also essential. Additionally, the role involves defining tracking requirements and partnering with platform owners to support accurate implementation and ensure data is properly validated. Designing and executing measurement and testing plans, including experiment setup, quality assurance, and initial results analysis, are also part of the day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate possesses 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, or a related field within a B2B revenue organization. Strong proficiency with advanced Excel and SQL, including experience querying data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery, is required. Familiarity with GA4, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms like Marketo is essential. Proficiency with data visualization tools like Looker for dashboard creation and maintenance is also necessary. Experience working with analytics data pipelines in a modern cloud data stack, including validating data ingestion and troubleshooting pipeline or reporting issues, is important. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to organize, validate, and quality-assure data with strong attention to detail. Clear, concise communication skills capable of translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations are crucial. A naturally curious and highly organized individual who is comfortable working with ambiguous data and partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment will thrive in this role.

Marqeta offers a flexible working environment, allowing employees to choose their best working environment, whether from home or at a company office. The new-hire on-target earnings range for this position, reflected in CAD, is $88,500 to $110,600. Additional benefits include multiple health insurance options, flexible vacation time, a retirement savings program with company contribution, equity in a publicly-traded company, a monthly stipend to support the remote work model, annual "development dollars" to support personal growth and development, and family-forming benefits with up to 20 weeks of parental leave.

Marqeta fosters a collaborative and innovative company culture, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Employees have opportunities for growth and development through cross-functional projects and access to professional development resources. The company's commitment to flexibility and employee well-being makes it an attractive place to work for those seeking to make a significant impact in the fintech industry.
