Senior Product Manager, Stablecoins
As a Senior Product Manager on the Flexible Credentials team, you will drive the next generation of fintech products focusing on Stablecoin payments and Card Issuing within the embedded finance space. You will own the strategy, execution, and go-to-market plans for emerging product lines, collaborating cross-functionally to launch and scale innovative financial solutions. Key responsibilities include defining and driving product strategy by owning the roadmap for new Stablecoin-based fintech products, aligning business goals with customer needs. You will develop and scale embedded finance solutions in card issuance and Stablecoin payments, working closely with engineering, design, and data teams. Executing with excellence involves collaborating with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, and external partners to build, launch, and scale compliant financial products. Additionally, you will conduct customer and market research to deeply understand customer pain points, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to inform product decisions. Prioritizing with data by leveraging analytics, user insights, and industry trends to identify high-impact features, optimizations, and experiments is also essential. Partnering with the fintech ecosystem by working closely with banks, networks, and fintech partners to drive innovation and enhance the platform’s capabilities is another key aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of product management experience in card issuance and Stablecoin payments, with a proven track record of building and scaling financial products from 0 to 1 in a high-growth environment. Strong technical acumen is required, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand API-driven products. A deep understanding of card issuance, payment processing, Crypto/Stablecoin payments, or banking-as-a-service (BaaS) models is essential. The candidate should thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, balancing strategic vision with execution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a data-driven mindset, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also necessary.
Marqeta offers a competitive compensation package, with base salary ranges varying by location. For National locations, the range is $120,600 - $150,700, and for Premium locations, it is $130,500 - $163,100.
