Senior Marketing Data Manager
As the Senior Marketing Data Manager at LaunchDarkly, you will lead and expand the company's marketing data strategy. This pivotal role involves designing, governing, and implementing the systems and data infrastructure that drive segmentation, targeting, activation, attribution, and revenue measurement across the Marketing and broader Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure data is unified, trustworthy, compliant, and actionable, thereby enhancing marketing effectiveness and revenue outcomes.
Key responsibilities include defining and leading the end-to-end marketing data framework, encompassing data collection, integration, unification, governance, activation, and measurement. You will architect and optimize a scalable Customer Data Platform (CDP) ecosystem, integrating it with CRM, marketing automation, product analytics, data warehouse, and enrichment systems. Additionally, you will establish data integrity, governance, and compliance standards, proactively identifying and addressing systemic data risks to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in marketing data management or related GTM operational roles. Deep expertise in CRM, marketing automation, CDP ecosystems, identity resolution, segmentation strategy, and attribution modeling is essential. A strong understanding of B2B marketing data architecture, governance, analytics, and GTM operations is required. Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and advanced analytical skills to evaluate ambiguous problems and synthesize disparate data sources are also necessary.
Compensation for this role varies based on geographic location. For Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area, NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle), the salary range is $136,000 - $187,000. For Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago), it is $122,000 - $168,000. For Zone 3 (all other US locations), the range is $116,000 - $159,000. Additional benefits include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits.
