Senior Processor Implementation Manager
The Senior Processor Implementation Manager is a key individual contributor within Chime's Processor Operations team, responsible for ensuring the reliable implementation, validation, and operational readiness of payment processors, funds flows, and platform changes. This role requires deep system knowledge, operational judgment, and data expertise to manage complex payment workflows while collaborating closely with Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Bank Operations teams.
Key responsibilities include leading complex processor implementations, migrations, and platform changes, serving as a subject matter expert on Chime's payment flows and transaction lifecycles, and partnering with Engineering to review changes and validate operational assumptions. The role also involves supporting Accounting, Audit, Risk, and Finance by interpreting platform behavior and transaction data, participating in incident response and escalations, defining expected versus anomalous processor behavior, performing advanced data analysis and SQL-based investigations, and acting as a trusted advisor to Implementation and Reconciliation Managers.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in bank and/or payment operations with a broad understanding of operations, including accounting, funds flow, settlement, and processing. A strong reconciliation background, understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, familiarity with network operations including Visa, Mastercard, PLUS, and Star, and extensive experience with tools such as Google Office, analytics platforms like Looker and Snowflake, SQL, and core banking systems are essential. Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Accounting, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Engineering teams, driving continuous improvement projects, and possessing excellent business acumen, communication skills, and a self-starting attitude are also required.
The base salary for this role ranges from $156,000 to $215,000 annually, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
