Senior Product Manager - SDKs, Developer Platform & Documentaiton
Marqeta is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of its developer platform, focusing on SDKs, APIs, and documentation. This role is pivotal in ensuring developers can seamlessly discover, integrate, test, and scale financial capabilities using Marqeta's offerings. The position is based in Toronto, Canada, with the flexibility to work remotely within Ontario.
The successful candidate will own the roadmap for mobile and web SDKs across iOS, Android, and web platforms, emphasizing scalability, performance, and usability. Responsibilities include leading the developer documentation strategy, enhancing onboarding experiences, improving API usability, and building tools to accelerate integration and developer productivity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Developer Relations, Documentation, Security, Design, and Solutions Engineering is essential to deliver an intuitive and reliable platform.
Applicants should have 5-8+ years of experience in building products that developers love, with a proven track record in shipping SDKs, APIs, or developer platforms that scale and delight technical audiences. Deep technical fluency across modern ecosystems, including mobile (iOS/Android), web frameworks, and API-first architectures, is required. Hands-on experience with SDK architecture, lifecycle management, and crafting intuitive APIs is essential. A strong focus on improving developer onboarding flows, enhancing API usability, and creating clear documentation is also necessary.
Marqeta offers a competitive base salary range of CAD 108,000 to 135,000, along with annual bonuses for eligible employees.
