Senior Product Manager, Tokenization
As a Senior Product Manager for Tokenization, you will lead the product strategy and roadmap for Marqeta's tokenization platform, a core component enabling digital wallet provisioning and network token transactions. This role involves shaping the platform's strategic direction, driving innovation to deliver industry-first capabilities, and managing relationships with key partners such as Visa, Mastercard, Apple, and Google.
Key responsibilities include developing a compelling product vision and roadmap, aligning with leadership, engineering, and cross-functional teams. You will engage directly with partners on compliance mandates and strategic initiatives, collaborate with engineering and operations teams to manage complex projects like network migrations, and translate network and wallet requirements into clear engineering specifications. Additionally, you will deliver customer value iteratively by launching new capabilities and identifying and addressing customer-impacting gaps in the platform.
The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in product management, specifically in designing and delivering payment solutions. Deep expertise in the payment industry ecosystem, including card brand regulations, payment networks, tokenization standards, and digital wallet integrations, is essential. A proven track record of end-to-end product delivery, strong communication skills, technical acumen, and a customer-centric mindset are also required.

Compensation is competitive and aligned according to three tiers based on geographic location, with base salary ranges from $120,600 to $177,300.
