Senior Production Support Engineer
Marqeta is seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer to join our European team, focusing on delivering exceptional technical support to our valued customers. As a key player in the customer experience, you will manage the technical needs of clients integrating with our card issuing platform, which powers renowned brands in the new economy.
In this role, you will configure environments and controls, troubleshoot collaboratively during customer integrations, and provide high-quality support through various channels. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, performing root cause analyses, monitoring production transaction volumes, and coordinating internal projects to enhance support processes. Additionally, you will offer on-call support and advise onboarding customers on technical solutions that align with their business needs.
The ideal candidate possesses over four years of experience in technical or production support for B2B customers, preferably within the card payments industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in API technologies, Linux environments, intermediate SQL knowledge, and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Kibana, Splunk, or Datadog is also desired.
