As a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer II at Axon, you will be a key member of the Wireless & Connectivity Center of Excellence team, leading the design and development of advanced wireless connectivity solutions across Axon's product portfolio. This includes body-worn cameras, in-vehicle systems, wearables, and other next-generation platforms. Axon is dedicated to protecting life by providing public safety agencies with state-of-the-art devices and services to effectively serve and protect communities.

In this role, you will own the RF architecture and implementation across a broad range of wireless technologies, from integrating Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules to detailed chip-down cellular designs. Your responsibilities will encompass PCB layout, RF routing, matching networks, and antenna port optimization. You will apply your deep expertise in LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and related wireless systems to hands-on design, validation, and performance optimization of mission-critical video and communications products.

The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 9–12+ years of experience in designing, integrating, and optimizing wireless RF solutions for battery-powered and vehicular embedded products. Essential qualifications include expertise in multi-transceiver wireless system architecture, RF circuit design, and system integration across technologies such as 4G, 5G, multi-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GNSS. Proficiency in RF debugging, interference analysis, and receiver de-sense mitigation is also required.

Axon offers a competitive salary range of $167,000 to $194,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave, and medical, dental, and vision plans.
