As a Senior Revenue Manager at Axon, you will lead revenue accounting operations and serve as a strategic partner to FP&A, Commercial Controllership, IT, Professional Services, and Sales. This role requires deep revenue accounting expertise in a fast-paced, public company setting, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition under ASC 606 while strengthening processes, controls, and scalability across a complex, multi-element revenue environment.

Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day revenue accounting activities, such as managing key revenue streams, journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, review and document technical accounting conclusions for complex contracts, and partner cross-functionally to evaluate contracts, resolve revenue issues, and optimize order-to-cash processes. Additionally, you will oversee monthly and quarterly close activities, maintain and strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA preferred, and at least 7 years of progressive revenue accounting experience, including required ASC 606 experience in a publicly traded company environment. Strong technical expertise in complex revenue arrangements across hardware, SaaS, and professional services is essential. Experience operating in a SOX-compliant environment, supporting audits, and demonstrated cross-functional partnership with Sales, FP&A, IT, and Operations are also required. Proficiency in ERP systems (D365 or comparable) and advanced Excel skills are necessary, with experience in automation and data tools strongly preferred.

Axon offers a competitive salary and 401k with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave for all, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. Additional benefits include fitness programs, emotional and mental wellness support, learning and development programs, and office snacks. Compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards, with the actual base pay dependent upon factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic market.
