Senior RF Engineer
Echodyne is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join our Engineering team, focusing on the long-term performance, reliability, and manufacturability of our radar products. This role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to diagnose issues, resolve defects, and implement design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include leading RF root-cause investigations, performing advanced RF debugging and measurements, developing and verifying RF design updates, evaluating and qualifying alternate RF components, analyzing production and test data to identify trends, and supporting manufacturing teams in improving RF test coverage and yield. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain robust subsystem performance and contribute to engineering change orders and sustaining documentation.
Required qualifications include a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in RF/microwave hardware, including debugging and verification of RF printed circuit assemblies. Candidates should have a strong understanding of RF fundamentals and metrics, experience with RF laboratory equipment, proficiency in RF chain/cascade analysis, and familiarity with design-for-manufacturing practices for RF circuits. Eligibility to handle export-controlled information (ITAR/EAR) is also required.
The compensation for this position ranges from $137,196 to $205,382 annually.
