Senior Sales Engineer
Axon is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in South Africa. As a leading developer and manufacturer of conducted electrical weapons, body-worn cameras, and digital evidence management solutions, Axon is dedicated to redefining public and private sector technology worldwide. In this position, you will achieve mastery of all Axon technologies and products, leading business and technical presentations effectively. You will engage in technical conversations with IT departments, including CIOs, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing first-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle, developing relationships with key partners, and representing Axon's products and values at industry events.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, and at least four years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience. Experience with public procurement in Africa, selling SaaS-based solutions, and knowledge in networking, storage, virtualization, or related technologies are essential. Fluency in English is required, with French language skills considered a plus.
