Senior Sales Engineer - India
As a Senior Sales Engineer at LaunchDarkly, you will serve as the technical partner to Account Executives, focusing on expanding enterprise customers across the Indian market. This role involves guiding technical discovery, delivering compelling demonstrations, leading proof-of-value engagements, and helping customers understand how LaunchDarkly enables safer, faster software delivery. You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders, architects, and DevOps teams at large enterprises to modernize their software delivery practices.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and develop technical account strategies, engaging with engineering leaders to understand their software delivery challenges, and designing solutions that demonstrate how LaunchDarkly integrates into modern development environments. Additionally, you will conduct product demonstrations, lead technical evaluations such as proof-of-concepts and workshops, and develop strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders to support customers throughout the evaluation process.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales within enterprise SaaS. A strong understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure as code, feature flags, and progressive delivery, is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles, are also required.
Preferred qualifications include a background in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, familiarity with Kubernetes and microservices architectures, and programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, Experience supporting enterprise deals in large organizations (F500/G2000) is advantageous.
