Senior Sales Engineer, Italy
Axon is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its EMEA Sales Engineering Team, focusing on supporting sales campaigns and deploying evidence capture devices and digital evidence management solutions to public safety agencies across Southern Europe. This role is pivotal in communicating the value and technical aspects of Axon's globally leading solutions, contributing to the company's mission to Protect Life and Accelerate Justice.
The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for delivering impactful technical presentations, leading architecture design discussions, managing proof-of-concept engagements, and conducting solution demonstrations and technical workshops with customers and partners. Additionally, the role involves supporting the smooth transition of sales opportunities into successful deliveries by collaborating with Professional Services and partner networks. The engineer will also document customer feature requests, provide feedback to sales and product management, and execute customer site assessments targeting technology infrastructure.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a similar role is required. Essential skills include knowledge in areas such as Digital Video, Mobile Communications, IP Engineering, IP Security, Embedded Systems, IAM, and SaaS. A strong understanding of CCTV systems, VMS, network technologies, and the IP stack is also necessary. Fluency in native Italian and excellent English language skills are essential. The role requires significant travel, up to 70%, including some international travel.
