Axon is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to join our team focused on major accounts. This role involves pitching our advanced technology solutions to leadership, support staff, and end-users within the law enforcement and public safety sectors. As a key member of our sales team, you will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives and must be a self-starter who excels in a high-paced, evangelistic startup environment.

In this position, you will achieve mastery of all Axon technologies and products, using exceptional written and oral communication skills to lead business and technical presentations effectively. You will engage in technical conversations with IT departments, including CIOs, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing first-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle, developing relationships with key partners, responding professionally to customer RFPs/RFIs, and representing Axon at industry events. Additionally, you will take ownership of the proof-of-concept and pilot processes, coordinate logistics across stakeholders, and tailor tests to meet customer objectives.

The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent field, or 5+ years of relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role is required, along with experience selling SaaS-based solutions. Preferred qualifications include experience in end-user computing or cloud computing, as well as knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, or related technologies. Candidates must possess intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive approach, along with strong presentation skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
