Senior Sales Engineer - META Region
Axon is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in the META region. As a leader in public safety technology, Axon develops and manufactures conducted electrical weapons, body-worn cameras, and digital evidence management solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on protecting life and enhancing public safety.
In this position, you will achieve mastery of all Axon technologies and products, leading business and technical presentations effectively. You will engage in technical conversations with IT departments, including CIOs, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing first-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle, developing relationships with key partners, and representing Axon's products and values at industry events. Additionally, you will coordinate logistics for proof-of-concept processes, assess customer requirements, and tailor demonstrations accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience, with at least 3 years focused on public procurement in the META region. A background in selling SaaS-based solutions is essential, along with experience in end-user computing or cloud computing. Proficiency in networking, storage, virtualization, and related technologies is required. Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory, and French language skills are considered a plus. A willingness to travel up to 70% of the time is necessary for this role.
