Senior Security Operations Engineer II
Axon is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer II to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of its security infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support services as they scale, with a focus on building and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives.
Key responsibilities include implementing automated security checks in CI/CD pipelines, writing and maintaining security-focused infrastructure-as-code, investigating security incidents, and collaborating with developers to develop new features and infrastructure requirements. The role also involves enhancing security observability, maintaining security runbooks, and resolving security incidents.
Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in operations, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering roles, with strong experience in securing and managing cloud environments and containerized workloads. Proficiency in automation, scripting, and security tooling integration is essential, along with experience in security monitoring, alerting, and observability tools. A solid grasp of CI/CD practices and experience managing Kubernetes clusters are also required.
