Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Corporate Technology Engineering team in Seattle, Washington. This team is responsible for developing and enhancing the systems that enable Anduril to fulfill its mission, supporting various departments including supply chain, accounting, sales, engineering, and manufacturing. As a defense technology company, Anduril focuses on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, delivering cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning, managing, and scaling complex infrastructure for all business systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include continuously improving and refining CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency, reliability, and speed of software delivery. You will champion a culture of observability and reliability within the organization, promoting best practices and tools to enhance system visibility and resilience. Collaborating with other engineering teams, you will translate their requirements into functional cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices. Additionally, you will design and implement infrastructure solutions that align with the company's business goals and objectives, harden systems, assess workload demands, and plan resource capacity to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with strong proficiency in utilizing cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. You should have the ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable IoT architectures, and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Ansible. Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Helm is essential. A deep understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and security best practices is required, along with programming ability in languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Rust. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are also necessary. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, or Google Cloud Certified Professional are preferred. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is required.
The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $220,000 per year, with highly competitive equity grants included in the majority of full-time offers.
