Senior Software Engineer, Client Management
As a Senior Software Engineer on Ridgeline’s Client Management team, you will play a pivotal role in developing cloud-native applications that redefine how investment firms onboard clients, manage portfolios, and automate investor services. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable applications from the ground up using modern frameworks. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing sophisticated web front-ends with React and TypeScript, building maintainable backend services using Java or Kotlin, and collaborating closely with product, design, and UX teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Additionally, you will leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building cloud-native applications. Proficiency in modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Jest is essential, along with expertise in backend development using JVM languages and SQL. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is also required. A passion for problem-solving, clean architecture, and scalable design, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and effective communication, are key attributes for success in this role.
