Senior Software Engineer (Delivery & Developer Experience Team)

SmartRecruiters is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Delivery & Developer Experience team. This team focuses on enhancing engineering productivity and delivery efficiency by developing internal tools and platforms. As part of SmartRecruiters, an AI-powered hiring platform serving over 4,000 companies globally, you'll contribute to transforming the recruitment industry.

In this role, you'll build and document services, libraries, and tools using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go, all atop Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure. You'll own and evolve our CI/CD platform, support runtimes like JVM and Node.js, and collaborate closely with other engineering teams on strategic initiatives. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering organization.

The ideal candidate has experience in distributed systems design, end-to-end product lifecycle support, and CI/CD systems. A deep command of Java, familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes/Docker, and strong collaboration and communication skills are essential. Hands-on experience with clean code principles and effective code reviews is also required.
