Senior Software Engineer I

Axon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cloud-based services that are both highly available and performant. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on public safety and justice solutions.

In this role, you will lead architectural design reviews, mentor fellow engineers, and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver integrated solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and maintaining scalable backend services, improving engineering processes through automation, and leveraging AI systems to enhance performance and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with over six years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in designing and delivering cloud-based systems, experience with managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#, and familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases are essential. Additionally, experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows is highly desirable.
