Ridgeline is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Investment Data team, focusing on building a fast, scalable accounting engine with comprehensive asset class support and global market coverage. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a cloud-native platform that is transforming the investment management industry. As part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will help shape a reliable and scalable architecture, ensuring the platform's performance and reliability.
In this position, you will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring. Key responsibilities include building cloud-native applications on AWS, driving quality through developer automation, and championing best practices in testing and production readiness. You will also balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural thinking and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in software engineering, with a background in building applications in a public cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline is required. Experience with production observability, performance monitoring, and test automation across the stack is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences are also important.
Ridgeline offers a competitive compensation package, with a targeted cash compensation amount for this role ranging from $146,000 to $172,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise.
