Senior Software Engineer, Platform
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform team, focusing on developing and maintaining the foundational systems that power our defense technology products. As a key member of the Lattice Platform, you will contribute to building a comprehensive, integrated platform that enables efficient data management, task orchestration, and system-wide interoperability. Our team is dedicated to rapidly deploying solutions in real-world environments, supporting autonomous robots, data-driven decision-making, and innovative applications across all war-fighting domains.
In this role, you will design and implement core infrastructure components that support Anduril's defense technology applications. Your responsibilities will include developing platform services that enable other software engineers to scale their output, working with simulation, data management, compute infrastructure, and networking technologies. You will collaborate with customers to deliver novel software capabilities and partner with team members in the autonomy domain to create technologies and processes that enable users to safely and rapidly develop and deploy autonomous systems at scale. Additionally, you will participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions, and implement robust monitoring, logging, and data management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in an engineering environment, such as a startup or engineering school, and 5 years of experience working with a variety of programming languages, including Go, C++, Rust, Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript. You should have experience designing, developing, and integrating software for infrastructure, cloud, web, autonomy, or robotic applications, and a demonstrated ability to build platform and infrastructure tooling. Experience working with customers to deliver novel software capabilities and strong collaboration skills, particularly in the autonomy domain, are essential. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $168,000 to $252,000, along with highly competitive equity grants.
