Senior Software Engineer, Platform
As a Senior Software Engineer, Platform at Beacon Software, you will own the architecture and delivery of our CRM and data-driven prospecting platform in a zero-to-one environment. This role involves turning complex problems into systems, standards, and processes that enhance the efficiency of our Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, and portfolio teams. You will be instrumental in connecting people, data, and systems to automate high-impact workflows and provide timely insights.
Your key responsibilities will include designing a unified system of record and insight that enables timely outreach to top prospects, modeling entities with identity resolution and data quality guardrails, and shipping self-serve reporting and dashboards with clear service level agreements. Additionally, you will automate multi-step go-to-market and business development processes across various platforms, implement large language model-powered agents for research and due diligence preparation, and establish retrieval-augmented generation pipelines to deliver relevant documents and signals to teams at the right time.
We are seeking candidates with over eight years of experience in software engineering, particularly with significant ownership of CRM-centric platforms and revenue or operations systems. A strong product sense for business development and mergers and acquisitions workflows is essential, along with the ability to translate qualitative feedback into quantitative goals. Deep integration experience, including APIs, webhooks, and authentication, as well as proficiency in AI integration such as calling large language models and building retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, is required. Clear and concise communication skills are also vital for incorporating feedback from both technical and non-technical partners into timely roadmaps.
