Senior Software Engineer, Platform
Beacon Software is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of our CRM and data-driven prospecting platform. This role involves building systems, standards, and processes that enhance the efficiency of our Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, and portfolio teams. As an AI-first orchestration position, the focus is on connecting people, data, and systems to automate high-impact workflows and provide timely insights.
Key responsibilities include designing a unified system of record and insight to facilitate timely outreach to top prospects, modeling entities with identity resolution and data quality safeguards, and developing self-serve reporting and dashboards with clear service level agreements. The role also involves automating multi-step go-to-market and business development processes across various platforms, implementing large language model-powered agents for research and follow-ups, and integrating data and systems through APIs and event streams to maintain enriched and updated data.
The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in software engineering with significant ownership of CRM-centric platforms or revenue/operations systems. A strong understanding of business development and mergers & acquisitions workflows is essential, along with expertise in API integrations, identity resolution, and data governance. Hands-on experience with AI integration, including calling large language models, building retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, prompt design, evaluation, and implementing guardrails, is also required.
