Senior Software Engineer, Supplier Platform (Remote)
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Supplier Platform team at ezCater, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities that empower our restaurant partners to efficiently grow their businesses on our platform. This position involves designing and building robust data structures and services to provide partners with top-tier reporting experiences and in-product personalization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, Security, Product, and Operations, to drive the transformation of our supplier platform and data model.
In this role, you will lead the design and development of services and features that advance our supplier platform, balancing quality and speed while addressing company-level priorities. Mentoring developing engineers and contributing to engineering excellence across the organization are key aspects of this position. Your work will directly impact the success of our restaurant partners by providing them with the tools and data necessary to thrive on ezCater's platform.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of professional development experience, focusing on backend technologies and building services using languages such as Go, Ruby on Rails, or Java. A proven track record in designing and building relational data models, along with the services and APIs to efficiently access the data, is essential. Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and experience implementing in-product data visualization tools are preferred. A quality mindset, practical experience with feature flags, telemetry, and safe rollout techniques, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving are also important.
The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $158,000–$190,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and region, and may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits such as equity, 401K, or medical, dental, or vision insurance.
