Senior Software Engineer, Vehicle Intelligence
As a Senior Software Engineer at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in developing and launching a new product within the Vehicle Intelligence team. In this role, you will lead engineering architecture design reviews, set high technical standards through code and architecture evaluations, and mentor fellow engineers. Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, you will create integrated solutions that meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will also include improving engineering processes, such as long-term planning and sprint management, and building services that prioritize high availability and low latency.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with over six years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in designing and delivering scalable, cloud-based systems is essential. Experience with backend services in managed languages like Java, Scala, Go, or C#, as well as familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases, is required. Additional experience with Java, Golang, or Scala programming is advantageous.

The base pay range for this role is between $141,000 and $225,600 USD, with actual compensation dependent on various factors such as experience and geographic location.
