Senior Solutions Engineer - Italy
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Trustpilot, you will serve as the technical and consultative partner to the New Business and Account Management teams, enabling customers to understand and realize the value of Trustpilot’s platform during the sales process. Trustpilot is a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a vision to become the universal symbol of trust, operating the world's largest independent consumer review platform. This role is based in Milan, Italy, and offers a hybrid working model with 2-3 days on-site and the remainder working from home.
In this high-impact, customer-facing role, you will partner with Account Executives to uncover customer needs, system environments, and integration requirements. Your responsibilities include developing clear, scalable solutions that meet business objectives, delivering tailored demos and presentations, supporting pilot programs to validate functionality, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams to ensure solution integrity and smooth handover, while maintaining accurate documentation for proposed solutions and integration requirements.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Italian and English and have experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical advisory roles within a SaaS or technology environment. A strong understanding of APIs, web integrations, data flows, and common SaaS architecture is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, a customer-centric and commercially aware mindset, and the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously are also required. Experience collaborating across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams is highly valued.
