Senior System Software Engineer in Test

As a Senior System Software Engineer in Test at Graphcore, you will play a pivotal role in the Drivers QA team, ensuring the flawless performance of our next-generation AI products. Graphcore is a leading innovator in artificial intelligence compute, developing hardware, software, and systems infrastructure to unlock the next generation of AI breakthroughs and power the widespread adoption of AI solutions across various industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for building, implementing, and delivering high-quality tests for complex driver features. Your day-to-day activities will include supporting debugging efforts, reducing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for both internal and incoming issues, and developing, improving, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to understand use cases and develop integration and acceptance test plans, while actively participating in technical discussions and reviews within the team.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of industry experience in validating Linux kernel and/or device drivers, with proficiency in test development using C++ and Python programming languages. A strong understanding of CI/CD, build tools, and modern testing practices is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven track record of working with complex cross-layer issues are required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively detail technical processes.
