Senior Systems Engineer, Discovery
The Senior Systems Engineer position at Anduril Industries is a pivotal role within the Discovery team, focusing on developing next-generation air and missile defense systems. In this role, the Senior Systems Engineer will interface with both internal programs and external customers to develop robust requirements and architecture management plans. Responsibilities include creating comprehensive artifacts based on stakeholder needs, ensuring full traceability and configuration control across related fire-control programs, and participating in the development of digital and systems engineering strategies. The engineer will also lead the creation and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts that demonstrate Anduril's capabilities in systems engineering and mission systems integration.
Candidates must possess a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a similar engineering or technical field, along with over five years of systems engineering experience across the life cycle. An active U.S. Secret security clearance is required. Experience with systems testing and evaluation methodologies, understanding of fire-control systems, and proficiency in tools such as SysML, DoDAF, and Cameo MagicDraw are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to generate and track metrics are also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in the compensation package.
