Senior Technical Program Manager II - Cloud Trust & Security
Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager II to lead critical security compliance and government authorization initiatives within the Cloud Trust & Security team. This role involves collaborating with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Product Security, and Compliance teams to ensure the delivery of secure and compliant cloud services. The position is based in one of Axon's offices located in Atlanta, Boston, Scottsdale, or Seattle, following a hybrid work schedule.
The Senior Technical Program Manager II will be responsible for planning and executing large-scale security compliance programs, including FedRAMP, GovRAMP, CJIS, and FIPS. Key duties include translating regulatory frameworks into actionable engineering roadmaps, driving cross-team delivery of control implementations, coordinating the evidence lifecycle, and maintaining integrated program plans. The role also involves serving as the execution liaison between Engineering and Compliance stakeholders and communicating program status to technical and executive audiences.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, along with at least 8 years of experience managing complex software or infrastructure programs. A minimum of 4 years in security or compliance-focused technical program management is required. Experience with frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or DoD SRG is essential. Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration is also necessary.
Axon offers a competitive salary ranging from $131,250 to $210,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
